What Happens If a Creator Violates Platform Rules

Lemyi is built on trust. That trust allows creators to work without chasing payments and allows brands to hire with confidence. When platform rules are violated, that trust is weakened, which is why Lemyi takes enforcement seriously and applies it consistently.

Enforcement is not designed to punish creators arbitrarily. It exists to protect the entire ecosystem and ensure that creators who act professionally are not disadvantaged by those who do not.

How Lemyi handles rule violations

When a potential violation is detected, Lemyi reviews the situation carefully. This may come from:

  • Automated system signals

  • Reports from brands

  • Internal audits during deal reviews

  • Evidence submitted through support or chat

Every case is reviewed in context. Lemyi does not rely on assumptions or single data points.

Levels of enforcement

Violations are handled in escalating levels depending on severity, intent, and repetition.

Warnings

For minor or first-time violations, Lemyi may issue a warning.

Warnings are used when:

  • The issue appears to be unintentional

  • No harm was caused to a brand or another creator

  • The behavior can be corrected easily

A warning explains:

  • What rule was violated

  • Why it matters

  • What needs to change going forward

Warnings are recorded internally.

Temporary suspension

If violations continue or are more serious, Lemyi may temporarily suspend a creator account.

Suspension may occur when:

  • A creator repeatedly ignores warnings

  • Spam behavior continues despite guidance

  • A creator attempts to bypass the deal or payment flow

  • Professional conduct standards are violated

During suspension:

  • The creator cannot apply to jobs

  • Active deal offers may be paused or cancelled

  • Access to certain features may be restricted

Suspensions are time-bound and reviewed before reinstatement.

Permanent removal

Severe violations result in permanent removal from Lemyi.

This applies when:

  • Payment is intentionally moved off-platform

  • Fraud or misrepresentation is confirmed

  • Multiple accounts are created deliberately

  • Harassment, threats, or abuse occurs

  • Creator actions put brands or other creators at risk

Permanent removal means:

  • Account access is revoked

  • Active or pending deals are cancelled

  • Reapplication is not allowed

This decision is final.

What happens to active deals

If a violation occurs during an active deal:

  • Lemyi pauses the deal immediately

  • The situation is reviewed

  • Funds remain protected and are not released automatically

Depending on findings:

  • The deal may continue

  • The deal may be cancelled

  • A replacement creator may be offered to the brand

Creator protection and brand fairness are both considered.

Appeals and clarification

Creators may contact Lemyi if they believe a decision was made in error.

Appeals must:

  • Be respectful and factual

  • Include any relevant context or evidence

  • Be submitted promptly

Lemyi reviews appeals carefully but does not reverse decisions lightly, especially when platform integrity is at stake.

Why enforcement matters

These rules exist to:

  • Protect creators who follow the process

  • Prevent unpaid work and disputes

  • Maintain high-quality opportunities

  • Preserve trust with brands

Consistent enforcement ensures that professional creators benefit the most from the platform.

Creators who act honestly, communicate clearly, and follow the deal flow rarely encounter enforcement issues.
