How Payments Work for Creators

Lemyi is designed so creators never have to guess when or how they will be paid. Payment is not an afterthought or a promise made in messages. It is built directly into the deal flow and enforced before any work begins.

This structure exists for one reason: creators should never work without payment being secured.

The core payment principle on Lemyi

On Lemyi, payment always comes before work.

A creator is never expected to:

  • Start drafting content

  • Prepare scripts or concepts

  • Deliver previews or finals

until payment has been confirmed by Lemyi.

This rule is non-negotiable and applies to every paid deal on the platform.

How payment is triggered

Payment only enters the system after a deal has been finalized.

The sequence is always:

  1. A creator is shortlisted

  2. A deal offer is created and reviewed by Lemyi

  3. The brand accepts the deal and proceeds to fund it

  4. Payment is confirmed by Lemyi

  5. The creator accepts the deal

  6. Work officially begins

If any step is missing, payment does not move forward and work does not start.

What creators get paid

Creators are paid the full deal amount shown in the deal offer.

Important points to understand:

  • Creators pay 0% commission

  • No platform fees are deducted from creator earnings

  • The amount in your deal is the amount you earn

Any platform fees are charged to brands separately and never reduce creator payouts.

How payment confirmation works

Once a brand funds a deal, Lemyi confirms that payment has been successfully received.

Depending on the country and payment method:

  • Payment may be reviewed manually

  • Proof of payment may be verified

  • Funds may be secured through a payment provider

Only after confirmation does the deal move forward.

This extra step protects creators from false payment confirmations or incomplete transfers.

When work officially starts

Work starts only after:

  • Payment is confirmed

  • The deal is marked active

  • You have accepted the deal

At this point:

  • Messaging is enabled for the deal

  • You can safely begin work

  • Deadlines and expectations are locked

If payment is delayed or fails, you are never expected to proceed.

What happens if payment is delayed or fails

If a brand does not complete payment within the allowed timeframe:

  • The invoice expires

  • The deal attempt fails

  • You are fully released

There is no penalty and no obligation on your part.

Lemyi does not allow creators to be left waiting indefinitely for payment.

How payouts are handled

Payout timing and methods depend on the deal and country setup, but the principle remains the same:

  • Payouts are tied to completed, paid deals

  • Lemyi ensures the agreed amount is released correctly

  • Records of payments are always visible to you

Specific payout methods and schedules may vary, but payment protection does not.

Transparency and payment records

Creators can always see:

  • The agreed deal amount

  • The payment status of each deal

  • Whether a deal is active, pending, or completed

There are no hidden deductions or surprise adjustments.

If you ever have questions about a payment, timing, or confirmation status, you can contact [email protected] or start a chat with us anytime. Payment clarity and creator protection are core to how Lemyi operates.
