Prohibited Activities for Creators

Lemyi is built to protect creators from unpaid work and brands from unreliable engagements. To maintain that trust, certain actions are strictly prohibited on the platform.

These rules are not optional. Violating them puts deals, payments, and creator protections at risk.

Off-platform payments are strictly prohibited

Creators must never attempt to move payment conversations or transactions outside Lemyi.

This includes:

  • Asking brands to pay via bank transfer, PayPal, crypto, or any external method

  • Sharing personal payment details before a deal is funded

  • Suggesting that payment be handled “off the platform” to avoid fees

Lemyi’s deal and invoice flow exists to ensure creators are paid. Bypassing it removes all protections.

Any attempt to move payment off-platform may result in immediate suspension.

Starting work before a deal is active

Creators must not begin any work unless:

  • A deal has been created

  • The invoice has been funded

  • The deal status is active

This includes:

  • Filming content

  • Editing drafts

  • Sending previews

  • Purchasing materials

If there is no active deal, there is no obligation and no payment protection.

Misrepresentation or falsified information

Creators must not:

  • Inflate follower counts or engagement metrics

  • Use fake or purchased followers

  • Claim skills, experience, or equipment they do not have

  • Present work that is not theirs as portfolio material

Lemyi reviews creators carefully. Any discovery of false information may result in removal from the platform.

Spam behavior and misuse of applications

Creators must not:

  • Apply to every job regardless of fit

  • Copy-paste generic applications repeatedly

  • Message brands excessively or aggressively

  • Attempt to pressure brands into hiring

Application limits exist to prevent this behavior and to protect creators from being ignored due to spam patterns.

Circumventing Lemyi’s workflow

Creators must not:

  • Ask brands to create deals manually outside the platform

  • Attempt to renegotiate deal terms outside Lemyi after acceptance

  • Request changes without going through the official deal flow

All changes must be handled within the platform to remain protected.

Ignoring deal terms or usage rights

Creators must not:

  • Deliver content outside the agreed scope

  • Reuse or resell content where exclusivity applies

  • Change usage rights after delivery

  • Withhold deliverables to force renegotiation

Deal terms are final once accepted.

Unprofessional or abusive behavior

Creators must not:

  • Harass brands or Lemyi staff

  • Use discriminatory or offensive language

  • Threaten or intimidate others

  • React aggressively to rejection or expired offers

Professional conduct is expected at all times.

Multiple accounts or impersonation

Creators must not:

  • Create multiple accounts

  • Apply under different identities

  • Impersonate other creators or agencies

Each creator may have only one account.

Consequences of prohibited behavior

Violating these rules may result in:

  • Warnings

  • Temporary suspension

  • Permanent removal from the platform

Severe violations may result in immediate removal without warning.

Why these rules exist

These restrictions are in place to:

  • Protect creators from unpaid work

  • Protect brands from bad actors

  • Maintain trust across the marketplace

  • Ensure long-term opportunity quality

Following these rules keeps Lemyi safe, fair, and sustainable.
